“I've stayed here before and chose it again because it's consistent. Service, breakfast, and staff are all great if you are just using the hotel as a place to sleep and hang out in between excursions to santa cruz and surrounding areas.”

“The staff and surroundings were amazing. The staff was friendly and very responsive to any requests I had. As for the surroundings it was beautiful with tall trees surrounding the property giving you the feeling of being in the forest. Great place to stay.”

“The room was clean and a good size. It didn’t feel small. The gym was modest but functional. The downside was the restaurant was closed during the holidays so we had to eat at Parkside instead. That was a very pleasant dining experience so we weren’t disappointed. The proximity of the hotel to downtown Los Gatos was ideal. We walked everywhere and thoroughly enjoyed it. All in all a fantastic stay and we look forward to returning, especially when the restaurant is open. ”

“The front desk agent was very nice. The room was amazing! I felt like royalty when I entered the room. It was beautiful. Very clean! We weren't able to stay for breakfast because we had to leave very early. The next time I'm in town, I will definitely stay here again.”

“I’ve stayed at Ocean Gate Inn several times when visiting my son at UCSC, and the staff has always been kind and professional. One thing I really appreciate is how they go above and beyond — I’ve arrived as late as 1 a.m., and they’ve called to make sure I was still coming, which shows great customer service. Sometimes I show up with two cars (mine and my son’s), and the man at the front desk always says it’s fine and never makes a big deal about it. The rooms are clean, it’s in a safe area,...
