“Check in was the hardest part of the stay. The computer system was down so we went to grab and food and crossed our fingers that we could come back to check in. Luckily it worked out for us. The room, the pool, hot tub and koi pond were a big hit with my family. We would stay there again.”

“Older property but clean and nicely appointed. Refrigerator, microwave, wi fi, desk. Located in downtown Los Gatos, very walkable to shops, cafe, and points of interest. Parking was very tight but nice to have in downtown Los Gatos. The property advertises electrical vehicle chargers. However, the one non-Tesla charger did not work. :-( ”

“It's one of the "all the above" places. Great and courteous staff, proud chef, clean room, locals hangout. Maticulous assistants (one was double checking the cleaning crew). Had the fish and chips. Never had chips like that before. They were awesome. Fish rivalled the restaurants here in Monterey.”

The only knock i would have is the breakfast on a sunday morning was just a couple pastries and Greek yogurt. ”

“The cottage was clean, cozy and absolutely perfect. I stayed in 11A and it was awesome. It had a cabin feel, and a great view of the trees and river. Loved the loft too! I'd stay here again. It was close to town but felt like it was far away in the woods. I loved the fireplace but if I could change one thing, I'd put a hot tub on the deck. A great getaway overall! ”

“I’ve stayed at Ocean Gate Inn several times when visiting my son at UCSC, and the staff has always been kind and professional. One thing I really appreciate is how they go above and beyond — I’ve arrived as late as 1 a.m., and they’ve called to make sure I was still coming, which shows great customer service. Sometimes I show up with two cars (mine and my son’s), and the man at the front desk always says it’s fine and never makes a big deal about it. The rooms are clean, it’s in a safe area,...
