“I loved the lobby, areas available to sit and work, and the french restaurant connected to the hotel was great. The room was small but clean. My issue was no privacy. The windows only have blackouts and no sheets so you are in a fishbowl where others can easily see into your room and you can see in theirs. Fire Alarm at night was not the hotel’s fault but made for an exhausting night. ”

“The hotel is beautiful and clean. The beds are very comfortable, and the location is central to most anything you may want to do downtown. With how expensive the stay is though, it’s strange that they charge extra for breakfast and valet parking is $48 a night when you can self park for $10 in the same parking garage. ”

“Enjoyed this hotel! Pleasant rooms and various spaces as well as great restaurants in the hotel. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Service was excellent. From the time I walked in, everyone was kind and willing to help. There was a small issue with my room but Alecia in housekeeping fixed it right away and more than made up for any inconvenience I had as result. She was amazing and made my day with her outstanding service! Great to see someone who is such a kind person and takes real pride...

“Property has great history and timeless furniture pieces but room could’ve used a thorough cleaning. No thermostat and room was warm. Room had an odor of being in a museum. Bed was mediocre but clean. Parked early but not allowed to check in. We didn’t want to go into room but wanted to be checked in since we didn’t want to have to return between 4:00-8:00. That would’ve cost an additional $50 which was unreasonable since the room was already quite expensive. Not very friendly either if...

“The area around the hotel is under construction so it would have been helpful to have had directions as to how to find the parking garage. It took us a few attempts but we made it!! We really enjoyed Theresa F. who tended bar on our first night there at the Rock Bar!”

“Bad location: it is dangerous to walk in the area around the hotel in the evening. The interiors are old in bad condition. The bath is very small and with very poor flooring. A very loud noise comes from the street out front. In the reception I have found rude person. At check in I asked a map of the city and the front desk clerk told me to find what I need in my smartphone…”

“Everyone was nice and did a wonderful job from valet to front desk to housekeeping. Their attitudes were pleasant. The hotel has access to the people mover that takes you around downtown but you have to use a room key to get through to the lobby. It is safe and clean. This is our second stay there and my go to!”
