“Location is good and this basic hotel is near the airport and less cost than other hotels but it is jaded. The bed if comfortable and the bathroom good so not bad for the price, but we hoped for better”

“Heritage buildings, just beautiful. The rooms are large size, ours had a king bed. Friendly staff, breakfast included, free parking is a bonus. We will definitely stay there again.”

“Our mattress was beyond finished. I cannot believe a hotel would allow guests to sleep on a one that sinks into the center as if it’s normally the resting place for a wrecking ball. The one thing hotels need to get right beyond anything else is the mattress, wouldn’t you agree? Other than that we keep getting bad room locations within the hotel with high traffic hallways (this time the entrance to the connected Denny’s restaurant, 1st floor) but that string of bad luck in my opinion is because...

“Very friendly staff, including valet and concierge service. The food at the Exile Restaurant was excellent, especially the service. Had a small breakfast at the Java Room in the lobby. The bagel with salmon and cream cheese is a must.”

“A character home with very no actual character beyond the first impression when entering the main doors. We stayed in the Bell Island Suite, which in no way felt like a suite. It felt more like a dated cottage or camp cabin. The room was tired and poorly maintained, with no consistent style or attention to detail. Issues included missing drawer knobs, mismatched hardware, peeling paint on the shower ceiling, cracked bathroom floor tiles, poor ventilation causing slippery floors, worn furniture,...

“it is close to teh center but in a more relaxed area so it is fine. The perhaps only inconvenience is that they are just in front of the supply vessels going to the oil platforms”
