“We enjoyed our stay! Great location for visiting Cairns as well as the Daintree and Kuranda rainforests. The condo is in a small complex with private residents. It was very clean, but lacked basic supplies (spatula, sponge, paper towels, etc). A few issues that arose: The hours for the front desk were a bit limiting if you were out and about exploring and coming back in the evening. “Lovely appointed hotel at the quiet end of The Esplanade closer to the airport. The front rooms are well appointed, but located directly above the restaurant so be prepared for noise. The nearby hospital (chopper) also adds to the noise. The staff were very helpful with luggage as there are no lifts. We felt the room was given a basic clean from the previous occupants because we were only staying one night. The floor was dirty and sticky and amenities not topped up. The resort itself is beautiful and has a lot of covered walking paths to get from the lobby to the rooms, pools, and restaurants, helpful when it rains on and off a lot in Cairns. Breakfast buffet was really good, wish it was built into the price though. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, particularly one night with very noisy neighbours at 2:30am.
