“Very clean, high quality, lovely home with fresh flowers and friendly, helpful hosts. Beautiful country garden to back and expansive views from lounge and one bedroom. Easy parking on site. Large steps to reach first storey difficult for parents in mid/late 80s but metal rails both sides helped. Highly recommend”

“Upon arrival there was a queue to check in with no staff at reception. After a short wait I went to find someone. Was told by the bar staff member he would come once he had served at bar. Shower didn't work in room so had to be moved to another. There was running water in this room however more of a drizzle out the shower so impossible to use. Toilet roll holder broken. Very run down and needs a lot of money spending on it. Breakfast in morning wasn't the best either. Me and my husband left...

“The cabin is situated in the most beautiful and peaceful area. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the cabin really let it down. We bought a full shop on the way to check in, but we couldn’t use the oven as all the numbers had worn off around the dials. “Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. “We had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and were shown to the room which was clean and bright. The food that evening was excellent, and as it was a warm evening we spent a pleasant time sitting outside with our drinks afterwards.
