“The good points are that the room was clean and hotel central. The bad points are that the hotel is very run down and nothing like the website photos. The furniture is old and cheap. The mattresses so soft they offer no support. The facilities are minimal. Staff sullen and grudging. Avoid as much better hotels & inns available. ”

While some holiday rentals can feel sparse and functional, in contrast it is obvious that a lot of thought and care has been put into making the cottage feel like a home. “I booked on behalf of one of our engineers, who found the cabin to be very dirty with little to no hot water, and infestation of insects and no WIFI as mentioned in the accommodation list. The front door also would not close or lock due to the door being so badly warped, and I had to book alternative accommodation as it was not suitable.
