“It was a pity that the property that was described as at Welshpool. it was not and there was no bus service. The cost of a taxi was prohibitive. The Hotel in Welshpool refused my debit card by processing it incorrectly. I spent the night in a shed of an abandoned house. Enjoyed the breakfast at the Greggs in Welshpool the next morning.”

“The hotel is nice for a short stay however could do with a few upgrades but generally well maintained. When we arrived we had a very warm welcome and throughout the stay our 2 dogs were made to feel relaxed and happy. The shower in the room was so small you struggled to move about and the shower gel provided even though smelt lovely was obviously watered down. “Very clean, high quality, lovely home with fresh flowers and friendly, helpful hosts. Beautiful country garden to back and expansive views from lounge and one bedroom. Easy parking on site. Large steps to reach first storey difficult for parents in mid/late 80s but metal rails both sides helped. Highly recommend”
