“What I want most from a hotel is a clean and quiet place to stay. This met both those criteria. And..you could easily walk to the Corning museum! It was interesting to be awaken by the Corning workers time blasts, a remnant of when these sound blasts would tell workers to get up and get going to work. We had a view of the river and the other side of town. A hour out to dining at The Cellar across the river (also walkable from the hotel). ”

“The Best Western Plus The Hammondsport Hotel was a fantastic choice for our family of three adults and two kids. We were immediately impressed by how spacious and spotlessly clean our room was, easily accommodating all five of us. “We were a little doubtful when we pulled into the parking lot as to whether we had chosen well or not. However, check in went smoothly and we were delighted when we saw our room. It was very large with two queen size beds and looked brand new! Everything was new in the bedroom and in the bathroom, including the air conditioner.
