“The hotel check in was seamless and the staff was very friendly.”

“This is a very old property. No elivators so we had to carry out luggage to 2nd floor and get it back down from stairs. Parking is on roadside right opposite to a park. The carpet of the hotel is very dirty you need to clean your feet if you step on it without footwear. I booked a standard room for 3. The room had 1 double bed and a single bed. To our surprise the wash basin is right beside the single bed outside the washroom. I have never see a hotel room with wash basin outside. So you get...

“A decent place to stay, close to the places we wanted to go. Good continental breakfast. Fitness centre was very small but I was the only one in there and I had a good workout. The room we had, the bathroom is pretty small, not sure if all the rooms have the same layout. I would stay there again.”

“Staff was helpful and understanding when we brought to their attention that our room smelt musty and there was a large leak of water from the ceiling, they promptly ensured we received a new room despite being booked full during a very busy summer stampede weekend. Rooms clean, however each bed only came with 2 very flat pillows. Only 1 mirror in each room. Some plug in sockets did not work. Minimal towels and such supplied for each room as well. “The absolute highlight of this property is its layout every single room is built facing the city, so you get an unobstructed view of the sunset right from your bed, which made the whole stay feel incredibly exclusive and tucked away from the main tourist crowds.”

“The hotel is nice and the room are comfortable and nicely recently renovated. We had an high floor facing downtown with nice view, however on Friday there is a club called blue in front with super loud music which made it impossible for me to catch sleep. They kept going until 4 am or even later, I recommend another hotel if you want peace and a good night sleep. Also there were not rope or room shoes in our room which is quite unusual for an hotel of this standing. ”

“Wonderful, cozy stay at this property. The host gave us a warm welcome and was there to see us on our way out. It was in a nice neighborhood and loved that parking in the driveway was an option. Would gladly stay again!”
