“Front staff was not helpful at all”

“The room was clean. The staff was super helpful when we made a booking error. The quiet pool closed early so we avoided the pool as the other was extra busy. Buffet breakfast was fantastic.”

“Outstanding service, lovely environment, very clean, attractive rooms. But first hotel we've stayed at (and we've stayed at many) without coffee machine. Missed that. Also, unfortunate that windows don't open; fresh air is important. More hooks needed in bathroom. ”

“Phoned the front deck numerous times about our bath draining so slow. Taking a shower and water above our ankles. There was never towels at the pool, had to call for more. Hot tub does not exist anymore, they build a wooden deck over it. The pool emergency phone was not working, no way to contact out. Pool emergency float device missing from the wall.”

“If you don’t have a breakfast voucher, check out the Garden Court restaurant and try their “North 40” breakfast. Consists of 7 oz steak done (perfectly) to order, plus bacon strips, hashbrowns, toast … $20 is a good value !”

“The hotel is nice and the room are comfortable and nicely recently renovated. We had an high floor facing downtown with nice view, however on Friday there is a club called blue in front with super loud music which made it impossible for me to catch sleep. They kept going until 4 am or even later, I recommend another hotel if you want peace and a good night sleep. Also there were not rope or room shoes in our room which is quite unusual for an hotel of this standing. ”

“Parking was great, providing there wasn't an event going on. It was primary a cultural biased place where we felt out of place. We stayed at the same hotel 3 weeks prior and had a great experience. It wasn't the hotel staff that treated us poorly, but the connected restaurant banquet events next to our room that kept us awake (both nights) throughout the night that made our sleeping schedule very hard. If i am going to spend over $400 for 2 nights in a hotel, i expect that some respect should be...
