“There were very limited hotel options because of a large event that weekend, and this was the last non-smoking room available. Unfortunately, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke as soon as I walked in. The front desk clerk was kind and offered air freshener since there were no other rooms available. I found a cigarette butt behind the door, the freezer was dirty, and there was dust all over the lamps, which made me question whether the room had actually been cleaned. I stayed one night...

However, the next day I was locked out of my room because the previous shift didn’t notify them that I was checked in, so I had to go back and get a new key, very frustrating as I had a prepaid reservation.
