“Wow! The Jackson is a gem. Such a peaceful, beautifully maintained, classic Vermont Inn. Both the Inn and the town of Woodstock brim with charm. The sitting parlors are inviting. My room on the 2nd floor was cozy. And the bed was awesome. Breakfast is not included in the lodging fee but was well worth the experience. And the grounds...! Make the most of your time at the Jackson to stroll the lovely, spacious lawn & gardens behind the Inn. I enjoyed a brief, morning, quiet-time...

“The AC was locked and did not stay on. Had to get up to pull plug to reset several times in night. If I pay for the room I should be able to set the temp to my preference. Otherwise the hotel was very good but disappointing regarding comfort from AC”
