“I stayed at The Promissory Hotel while visiting Roanoke for work. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff called me ahead of time to let me know which door to enter and where to park. Once getting there, they helped me with my bags to the room. The room was spotless and had a very unique vibe, unlike that of chain hotels. I also mentioned I would be staying in Roanoke more often so they offered to set me up with a frequent visitor rate. 10/10 recommend, I will be staying again!”

“Colony House Motor Lodge was a pleasure to stay in. Very clean and comfortable. I heard they just finished renovating the whole place - it has a retro vibe and the workmanship is excellent. From design to finishes you can tell they didn't cut corners. It's top quality. I highly recommend.”

“The room was very clean, closet smelled a litte weird but not unbearable. Having the kitchen, living room was great with a full sized fridge! Not to far down the road was everything u need. I would definitely recommend this place. I did not like theyre check out process, apparently the office is closed on Saturday, i had no idea what to do with the key. I ended up dropping it in the mail slot of the office door. Hopefully thats acceptable. Over all great stay”

The beds were very comfortable & the shower pressure was perfect. Complementary breakfast was yummy with plenty of options. We are traveling with 2 dogs & are grateful that they accommodate pets.
