“Fabulous stay - loved it!
Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all.
Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late.
Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends.”

Such a warm welcome from David and Pumpkin. The accommodation is superb and immaculately clean. Opted for the jacuzzi room which was an excellent way to relax after a busy day. David thinks of everything and the little touches for dogs and humans alike we’re greatly appreciated. Communication throughout was friendly and informative.

Made use of the pool and sauna and quiet areas although had to stop using the pool for the aerobics class. Had dinner in the Upper Deck restaurant which was lovely. “This has to be the best hotel I have stayed in for dog walking. It has a restaurant next door that serves excellent food sourced locally. A bit more expensive than a pub chain but well worth it. The same with the breakfast which was excellent.
And the bonus is we could eat in the dog friendly area with our dog.”

“Lovely place in the New Forest, easy to find but lives up to is name of "Retreat". Everything was really nice, bathroom was enormous with a large tub. Shower was blocked so avoided but didn't cause issues.
When we did have an issue with the door it was sorted in person straightaway. Only marked down "comfort" because the mattress was too firm, but that's each to their own. ”

Gardens were beautiful and having the walks across the road topped it off. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
