“The pub itself is very old and in need of complete redecoration. The stairs, carpets, walls, paintwork leading up to the room was in a very poor state. Carpets need a good clean and decorating needs to be done. However, although the room was very basic and worn, the bed was comfortable, the bed linen clean and well laundered. “Enjoyed an absolutely wonderful 4 nights here. The hosts were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Everywhere was clean and tidy, and the room itself was amazing. The hotel is perfectly situated on West Cliff, near to a bus stop and also close to the West Cliff lift should you not feel like walking up from the beach! There's also a handy Nisa local just round the corner, and a pub with good food (The Hop Inn). Highly recommended A++++”

Room furnished with freestanding pine double wardrobe accommodating full-sized ironing board, electric iron and hairdryer. space divided into 2, left side fore and aft clothes hanging rail (6 hangers),right side 3 shelves 2 drawers. The wardrobe double doors warped, difficult to open & close making loud squealing noise! the drawers were off their broken runners and operated...

The grounds and gardens were beautiful, such a tranquil environment and a fitting setting for such an interesting and attractive property. The hotel is steeped in history, Super amenities. “This is a beautifully situated old mill on a gentle stream with gorgeous grounds. Idyllic. Just outside Lymington but a short 8 minute drive into town or to the ferry. Dinner was good with excellent service. Nice room, comfy beds, good bathroom. We were there on the hottest day of the year so it was very hot in the room but a fan was provided which helped.”
