Hotel a Cerro Gordo

“House was a great location. Just beautiful. However, the hammocks were old and rotting, would have loved to use them. Hot tub was not in a location that we felt comfortable using since it was by the driveway. My only other issue with the property is everything from the showers to the main toilet and all the ceiling fans were impossible to reach. Even my son at 6’ had trouble reaching. Definitely recommend longer chains and maybe a stool in the bathroom. ”

“Couldn’t have been better! Ruben and Jessica were exceptional hosts - very friendly, helpful on local ideas and almost always available via phone, text or just knocking. If you’re planning a beach trip, they have things to lend out - cooler, beach towels, etc. - if they have it, you can use it. Wish we had more days as Ruben’s breakfasts are top notch. It was well equipped with a dishwasher and washer and dryer. The resort is older, but well maintained. There are stairs in the units that could be problematic for people with mobility issues. “The room was perfectly sized and the balcony was beautiful in the morning sun. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast with great coffee that energized us for the day. The location was further from the main part of San Juan (~15 mins) but we rented a car so it was super easy to get to. The hotel is across a plaza that was nice to walk around in and the shops/businesses in the area were pleasant to explore. There are so many powerful murals in the area!
