“I would say management needs to upgrade the facility. Rooms were outdated, furniture and rugs etc”

“Property is close to the highway, staff was helpful. Did not use the laundry area. The room is very basic, walls are thin and cigarette butts are everywhere. The place can best be described as janky.”

“In general, it is a decent, clean place for a quick stay which was the case for me as a place to stay on the way from New Hampshire to New Brunswick. It is right off the highway and has shops and gas stations nearby. Quiet despite that. The complimentary breakfast was kind of lame, though - would have eaten outside given the slim pickings.”

“We are on a three weeks trip across New England and we’ve been staying at any kind of Motel, Hotel, Inn… including Hiltons and other popular brands. this is definitely the best place we’ve been for its genuinity. Plenty of space in the room, which was very clean and with all we needed for our three days stay. Recommended for visiting Bangor and its surroundings.”

“The room was very clean and with enough space in it. Decent breakfast. The exterior of the motel is in horrible conditions (stairs/deck carpet totally wrecked, for instance) and there's no a pedestrian pathway tò reach out to the closest dining venues)”

“Parking is free and there is a lot of space. Despite being right next to 95, you can't hear the traffic. Rooms are spacious and appear to be newly renovated. There are two sinks, one in the bathroom and one in the hall which was nice if someone was taking a shower you can still brush your teeth. Breakfast was good, the only issue was that the breakfast area was a little small so you have to dodge people trying to get food. Still I would stay there again.”

“The room was okay. Our dogs stayed with us. The bed was comfortable. The place could use a very thorough cleaning, including a deodorizer. The halls in the hotel smelled good but our room smelled like feet. The carpet seemed pretty dirty. The location was nice as it was on campus of U of Maine, Bangor. It was fun to walk around checking things out. They had a great little cafe but charged for a coffee and muffins. Setting was good. Room was nothing to write home about.”

“Too many people staying in 1 room. No breakfast was available. Eggs, sausages etc were empty. Had to go to a restaurant.”

“Loved that the unit came with a table for 4! Did not love the dusty baseboards and loud heat/ac unit that was too loud for us to sleep comfortably. Also did not like that the sleeping area is not separate from the kitchen area. Prefer a bathroom with the sink inside so that other people in the party are not disrupted. Wonderful staff and overall good stay but could have been better.”

“The sheets were damp, the bathroom door didn’t close, none of the outlets worked, the area was terrible. Awful. 😭”

“This place is nothing short of an oasis. After a 6 hour drive it was perfect! I was there to survey my land in Abbot and enjoyed returning to a well appointed room with everything I needed. Great food just down the road in Munson and trails galore! I’ll be rebooking again soon.”

“The building is very well maintained and filled with unique furniture suitable to the age of the property. Very friendly staff and a great breakfast!”

“Only issue is that the hot water is on the wrong side of the bathroom sink and shower faucets. Sink faucet has to be turned to the right for hot water, not to the left toward the red dot/hote water indicator. The hot water comes on 1st on the shower faucet not after the cold water.”
