“The property is clean and quiet and the staff already prepared for my arrival which was really helpful, i just had slight difficulties locating the place, however the property is very good for it's price and close to the airport”

We had parked up the road just off high street (24 hour car park) as parking limited (permit only outside) at the pub but was easy to find car park and walk down to the pub was a couple of minutes. When we arrived in the pub we were welcomed by Babs and Summer. Summer showed us to our room, you have to go through a staff only area and as it is a pub the ceilings were low but we liked that as it makes the stay different. We were told all about the late night...

“Stayed here for 2 nights in July, was not sure what to expect but the staff were an absolute delight! The rooms were spotless and the amenities were well thought out (we had a fan already provided due to the heat!) We ate in the attached restaurant - was really tasty. Whilst they didn't have one of the breakfast options (no avocado either morning despite having a huge morrisons down the road!) the breakfast was tasty and well cooked. Would definitely recommend if you are staying on the Isle...

“We booked a Double Ensuite Room. On arrival our room was the family room. Wow what a massive room. It had 3 beds. Lovely fresh looking room, so clean. Beds were comfortable. Shower had great pressure and water was hot. We also booked a twin room. This too was lovely and clean. Had a kettle, teas and coffees for use, as did the Double Room. “Owners were very friendly and great at communicating ahead of our arrival. We had a fridge in our room, which was really helpful and the water and tea/coffee/biscuits left were lovely. The beds were so comfortable and we slept really well. The breakfast was amazing - really great quality sausages etc. would definitely stay again if we were ever in the area.”

“We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views...

“Lovely place to stay, just outside of Sudbury town centre. Room was cosy, bed lovely and comfortable with a great shower. Owners were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast options were great and tasty. It's not walking distance to any evening food options, so you will need a car if staying there, but Sudbury is only 10 minutes away. ”
