“Terrible. There’s honestly no other way to describe it. The entire situation was frustrating from start to finish, and it completely failed to meet expectations. Communication was poor, the execution was even worse, and overall it left a very negative impression. Definitely one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a long time.”

“Unlikely to stay there again. It was quaint, but lacking in amenities. The lobby didn't open until 8:00 AM for coffee which is too late for an early riser. A small coffee maker in the room would solve this problem. Be aware (as I was not) you are renting a bedroom, no TV and you are a few miles from a restaurant so make sure you have snacks. This set-up may work for some travelers but I found it lacking in amenities that would make the stay a bit nicer. It was clean, but the pool was not open...

“Although I had an extremely hard time understanding her English, the lady who checked me in was very sweet. The gentleman who checked me out the next morning is a different story. I skipped breakfast because the breakfast area wasn’t appealing at all…the bananas were almost brown and from that visual I immediately didn’t trust any other item they were offering. “The room was clean, but the toilet kept running in the night every few minutes. I was only there for one night. The staff was great. The breakfast was good. The chairs in the dining room can be updated because some of them are stripping. Otherwise, it's good for a short-term. Stay.”

“Me and my husband loved the pool and the decor it was a wonderful experience. The sauna was amazing too. The fireplace was a nice touch to the bedroom area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved that they send a message to let you know that you can call them and ask for assistance with service or food. The only thing that I was disappointed with was the hot tub that the water was not staying in the tub it was going out as it was going in it never filled up.”

“My top concern always is cleanliness and this inn was spotless. Staff was amazing, friendly, helpful and responsive. Such a quaint setting and only 15 min drive from downtown Dahlonega. Also super quaint. Close to wineries within 15 to 25 minutes. And lastly a must mention delicious daily breakfast!!!”

Pros: great location for all things downtown Dahlonega, very quiet room-surprising because of the location, gorgeous detail of design to enhance the historic location. Cons: The toilet room is a tight fit when you sit down. Wish they had blackout curtains because the room was lit up as soon as the sun came up.
