Not very close to the center, but you can go walking. Due to lack of knowledge, we rented during Oktoberfest weekend one night and the price was excessively expensive for what the hotel offers, which is little. The breakfast is quite basic and almost everything is cold(sandwiches,muffins etc). But ...

Postcard Cabins Chattahoochee, Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy
The place was incredible. It allowed us to disconnect from our daily routines. However, there are a few missing amenities, such as a hairdryer, Wi-Fi, a mirror, and a microwave. I would like to suggest that they consider providing an internet connection as an option in case of emergencies.
