“It was beautiful, the staff was super sweet. Make sure to ask about steps..some rooms do not.”

“It's an old place, but it was cleaned. Breakfast was great for a continental breakfast. They had bananas, apples, individual cereal boxes, coffee, cream, flavored cups of yogurt, small bottles of sunny delight orange juice, water bottles, disposable silverware, napkins, milk. The air conditioner was good. The only negative thing was that the bathroom tub didn't drain well.”

“We stayed here for one night, the property is nice and it is close to Helen, GA. That being said there was no staff on site during our one night stay, and there was a live scorpion in our room - which we dealt with ourselves because there was no staff and we knew calling someone would take too long. This is a small business, so I recognize and appreciate that they cannot have staff on full-time.”

“We were very impressed with the accommodations. The furniture, decor, kitchen was well equipped for a weekend getaway. The suite was perfect for 2 people and our teen slept on the couch, but ended up in the massive king bed alongside us the second night. The Lodge is a cool area for recreating and the bar (opening soon) was a hip little addition—LOVE the ceiling. We enjoyed eating on the back patio in the evening and we even had a visit from a black bear while sitting just outside the back...

“We only stayed for one night and it was a basic hotel stay. Check in was quick and easy, my room was clean and the air got cold. Got a great night sleep then left early the next morning. It was a basic hotel room. Nothing fancy or frilly, but I paid a basic price for a standard room. As long as it’s clean and serves the purpose, I’m happy. I’d definitely stay again if passing through the area.”

“Our first clue that there were problems is that our bedroom door wouldn’t open. My husband called the staff and she had to throw her whole body weight against the door to get it open! There was just one door lock and the 2nd normal latch was missing. The shampoo was half empty so obviously the cleaning was not properly done. The sink faucet was so wobbly that it wouldn’t stay in place. Maintenance is definitely not a priority. The towels were threadbare. Seriously!?!? The rugs and...

“First the Dillard's house has the most beautiful view of the mountains it was so gorgeous we really loved eating in the front dining room and enjoying the delicious food at the restaurant. “Very friendly and helpful staff. (Cindy) Accommodated our last minute booking. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Quiet even though located right off the highway. Shower curtain & towels/rags very worn out and in need of replacing. Dog hair everywhere but again we booked last minute so kinda understand there may not have been time for a better cleaning. Very convenient to Helen if you’re visiting the area!”
