“From start to finish great service”

“Dated hotel - nothing fancy. Breakfast: A lot of pre-packaged breakfast items, no fresh breads or bagels, I didn't see yogurt/fresh fruit, a few typical warm food items (eggs/a meat/french toast slices) offered. Good coffee. Room: good air-conditioning, but pillow stuffing all balled up inside every pillow provided, bed bumpy and uncomfortable. Patio door falling apart/curtain draws need fixing. Staff not typically engaging with people at front desk or during breakfast. Check-in: Two staff at...

“This is a lovely, unpretentious motel located in Murphy. Easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean. It is about a 10-12 minute drive to the John C Campbell Folk School and easy driving to various trails and scenic spots.”

“We had to wait literally 10-15 minutes before anyone came to the front desk. We called the "800" number to ring the front desk while standing there and still no one. Finally, a young man emerged from somewhere down the hall. While we were checking in "later," it was only 8:30-9:00pm. Weird! Then, we got to our room and as soon as we turned on the lamp....the power to the entire room went out. Weird again! We moved rooms...no issues changing, but this room had a bad odor (like urine). “The cabin was clean and very comfortable, and the staff was kind and patient (being tired after a long day on the road and a little absent minded I immediately locked my key in the room lol). The only glitch was that the hot tub was inoperative at first, but they sent someone down right away to fix it. We were looking forward to jumping in after our long day on the road, and so we had to wait quite a while for it to heat up enough to use, but at least we did get to use it and it was lovely. ...

“The lodge is a beautiful hidden gem! Rooms are very nice and clean. The view from the window is amazing, and you can go down and sit outside to enjoy that view of the mountains even more. There's a restaurant on-site that's pretty good, and in addition to hiking the Falls while you're there, you can do ziplining and archery as well. Great place!”

“This hotel was in like-new condition, our room was spotless, as was the hallways and dining room. The location was very convenient on a hilltop for nice views. We look forward to staying here the next time we visit Blue Ridge.”

“What a hidden gem. It is antiquated and small but this little motel is right in the heart of everything. You can just step out your front door and you are just steps From downtown Ellijay. Also, so many hiking trails are within a short drive. Highly recommend this place.”
