We are thrilled you decided to stay with us and that you liked the décor of the apartment, though I am sorry to hear you had some issues with the heat during your stay. As a listed building we are unfortunately unable to install aircon in apartments other than Treehouse, though we do have some portable AC units available on request. Would we have known your apartment was too hot for you during your first night, we would have been more than happy to move you to a more suitable apartment. I believe you spoke to a member of our reception team on your departure the following morning who had offered you a room move - we did have Treehouse available at the time which may have been more suitable for you to enjoy your second night, though I understand you declined this. Once again, we are sorry to see that we weren't a good fit for you on this occasion. Our team is on site 24/7 to deal with and resolve any issues that may arise during your stay - guest comfort is of upmost importance to us.Kind regards,Rhiannon

I am sorry to hear about the issues with your apartment, the windows are mirrored on the outside for your privacy but I understand that such views can still be off-putting. Would your issue have been raised to our reception team we would be more than happy to have moved you to a more suitable apartment. We don't advertise dishwashers in any of our apartments other than Treehouse, which is also the only apartment with built-in air-conditioning. Hi Jake, thanks so much for your review! Great to hear that you loved the apartment and the facilities were just right for you. The front door of the hotel is closed when our night porter arrives of an evening, so it can only be opened with the fob provided on your apartment key. We are also manned 24/7, either behind the desk or in our office space where we have access to CCTV at all times. Our beds are handmade by Burgess Beds under our Walker&Williams brand which is why they re super soft, but we appreciate this preference isn't for everyone.
