Hotel vicino a Chirk Marina - Wrexham

“A pet friendly hotel with friendly staffunder recent new ownership. Staff friendly and approachable. Room 8 clean but a problem with the bathroom light switch which staff knew about. I will revisit if in the area again. ”

“Good staff and location but the hotel is badly maintained, out of date, and in need of a serious renovation. Shower and bed were poor. Rooms very dated. I do not plan to stay again. Note: This is a pub so can be a little loud, but to be expected.”

“The room was okay. Though to be fair clean. The beds were a tad uncomfortable. The bed had a ridge at the side so probably needs a new matress. The pillars were cheap. One was too low and two were too high. The breakfast was of a reasonable standard. Though I doubt whether the sausages were Welsh sausages. Probably cheap sausages from wholesale suppliers. I used to make sausages and these definately werent home made. The buffet was very average. The bread was cheap commercial bread. The...

“Very nice building, in a central position. You can easily walk to all the destinations in Wrexham and/or easily get to the train station and bus station. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, perfectly cooked and served. The staff are kind, friendly and helpful. Hugely recommended if you’re planning to visit Wrexham.”

“The bathroom had mold. The ceiling tiles are broken. The room really needs a refurb. The main door is broken and sometimes doesn't open or opens very slowly. I've stayed at much better maintained premier inns in the past so this was a huge disappointment.”

“The room wasn’t bad, and nothing was inherently bad. It was relatively clean. Although, the bath panel was off, the room smelt damp, there was no hot water, the bath mat was mouldy. ”

“I'm afraid that we're extremely disappointed with the state if this property. It smells of damp and water ingress everywhere, with stains and skirting hanging off, there's an overpowering smell and generally uncleandownstairs bedroom. I'm not sure how you can charge for this. ”

“It was rather too warm in my room, I did mention this to the reception , but only on check out. I did not use the Bar as I was Going into town. ”

“Staff were lovely and welcoming even with a self check in! Came to make sure we had a travel cot and high chair for our baby as we didn’t specify age of our youngest child! Lovely sight we can’t wait to go back ”
