“The property is being remodeled. But it was clean. Our shower rod was loose and paper was folded up somehow to keep it up. We were not impressed at all with the breakfast.”

“Staff was friendly. The room was clean. Breakfast was just Ok. I think they must have just cleaned the room carpets as they were still damp…another guest noted same thing. Shower head was loose, toilet was loose on its base…which I’m sure was just an issue with our room All was doable.”

“For the price I paid I would have thought that I would have a newly remodeled room and bathroom or a suite but that was not the case. I was put in a room that had maintenance issues, part of which they took care of at 11:00 pm so kudos for that, however, I should have never been put in that room or moved rooms once it was brought to their attention. Everything was clean but was outdated and I wouldn’t rate anything excellent but good. Definitely wasn’t a great value. The staff was friendly and...

“Though the hotel may be a bit old, it was very clean. A few of the locked doors to the outside, were not. Nonetheless, this was a very nice hotel. I enjoyed the breakfast as well.”

“The tranquil setting in the woods is perfect for a New River getaway. The screened in porch with hot tub was a real bonus. Fire pit, outdoor grill and kitchen made for a great stay. The location - close to the bridge and visitor center - was super convenient.”
