“The breakfasts were good, although they weren't included, but it was hard to get an evening meal. The room I stayed in was near the road and boiler/ air conditioning so it was very noisy so I slept very badly. The fire alarm went off early in the morning and we didn't get any information from the staff so didn't know if it was safe to return to our rooms. Although geographically it worked well I wouldn't stay there again.”

“Beautiful property in a lovely quiet area. Everything you need in the clean and tidy room and a great base for exploring. Fans available during the warm weather, a lovely table and chairs with umbrella to sit out at on an evening. The breakfast for £9 was excellent nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Parking brilliant and was lovely to see Buddy the dog pottering around with his ball. Thank you for having us.”

“Stained carpet, zero WiFi coverage (it worked in reception for the staff) if you are on EE mobile there is zero mobile coverage so big problem. maintenance crew came ti the room and said yes the WiFi issue is a known problem!! So why not fix it! They seem to only be interested in weddings and groups. I was on my own and turned away from restaurant (it was half empty) and told come back in 45 minutes. Staff completely disinterested.”

“Room was clean and tidy tho family room was smaller than expected but was only 2 adults and a toddler. Only downside to this hotel was no air con or would have got 5 stars for everything”

“Zero WiFi except if you sitting downstairs by reception , room was ok , nowhere in hotel to grab a drink of food although room had kettle and microwave.. tv in room so basic and kept losing signal.. was staying for three nights ending up only doing two”

“Great stay a the Stag - bar staff were excellent and the food was absolutely fantastic . Rooms were spacious and really really clean and comfortable with comfy beds and great bathrooms . Parking was really easy and the welcome was superb . ”

“Room spacious, condiments & bedding dirty, shower head kept coming off, needed extra pillows, bed was really low and showed dirty marks on sheets etc, couldn’t get a breakfast, staff were rude when asked for more pillows etc and asking why questions. ”

“The property is a little older but the room was clean and had all the basics you need for a stress free stay. Easy access to and from London with main roads easily accessible.”

“My 90 year old Mum and I stayed for one night while visiting family. The staff were all helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to meet our needs. Super comfy beds and spotlessly clean. Breakfast included speciality coffees and a good menu of choices. The sun shone for us and we enjoyed the outside spaces. We highly recommend this hotel.”

“Helpful staff. Sorted out parking. Table broken in room. Shower no pressure, dribbled out. Room fan very poor, very little air coming out even at high speed. Complimentary bodywash and shampoo so small not worth open the packed.”
