The reception area looked down into the patio and room. The floors above the room were wood and you could hear people walking above you at all times. “The room was in the basement of the property and had a shared bathroom. I was not expecting either. From the pictures on the listing I thought I was going to get a room with a bathroom on a regular floor. My reservation was non refundable so I could not cancel it after I paid for it. The house is very clean and the owner was responsive when I expressed my surprise. However, I stayed 9 nights and the situation was not to my liking in that room. The room was very very small.”

“Location was great - heaps of groceries stores right outside and really close to the bus and tube. The apartment was clean and spacious which I liked and good water pressure in the shower. Cons - the bed was quite hard and the shower leaked on the floor (one time flooding into the main room, luckily I had spare towels).
