Hotel vicino a Collingwood Leisure Centre - Melbourne

“Hip boutique hotel in a fantastic location. There’s no shortage of bars, cafés, and eateries along Brunswick Street. The room was the perfect size for a solo traveller, and the bed was very comfortable. One thing to note is that there’s no gym in the building. I really enjoyed my stay and would be more than happy to return.”

“Efficient clean small hotel room with mini kitchen and laundry with comfortable bed. I looked forward to the balcony but my first floor balcony had 6' walls around it, in an alley without any sunlight , and had a neighbouring bright security light and camera on it so felt more like a prison yard.. I was disappointed that the pictures online showed a bar/food type area for socializing and there was none where I stayed. No resto/bar on site but some provisions (chips, pop, bottles) were on sale...

“Apartment was very spacious with a large living room and separate bedroom. Excellent shower/bathroom and decent (but basic) kitchen facilities. We had a 10-night stay visiting family nearby and it was ideal, close to shops, trams, trains, and was quiet and safe ”

“Clean. Tidy. Staff were amazing. Breakfast delicious. Underground parking not operating so had to self park off site. Not ideal but we were only staying 1 night so not much luggage. Would stay again.”

“Hotel was very clean and modern so a nice place to stay for the night. The only small annoyance was the heater seamed to be set on 23 degrees. I set the controller on 17 but temp stayed around 23. Heater was also quiet noisy to sleep with as fan speed couldn't be adjusted down.”

“Stay here often when I come to Melbourne for family events and it’s always a pleasant experience. It’s an excellent location, lots of things around that you need like public transport, supermarket and a pub on your doorstep. The employees at the front desk are outstanding! They are always very efficient, knowledgeable, helpful & friendly. And…… the beds are so good!”

“It is not easy to find properties that are pet friendly so we are always keen to try them out. Birches Apartment was a good size with a comfortable layout and in a great location close to much of what Melbourne has to offer. The bed was comfortable with good quality Hotel type sheets. Yes it’s a bit tired with the age and style of the building but it’s fairly typical of other places we’ve tried in the past when we need to stay with our two small dogs.
