“The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, the hot water didnt take long to get hot, the staff was very friendly. I asked for magnets because they have an area of merch and they did not have the magnets yet. The owner was there and the manager, both took my info and will ship out a free magnet to me since they arrive a day after my check out. “Great area, a little out dated but for the price it isn’t bad. No elevator so you have to carry your luggage up; but they do offer assistance. Morning breakfast is nice clean and stocked. Close to the almost anything. They only clean your room 3 days after your initial check in which I thought was weird…overall decent place. Staff was nice”

“It's a very nice hotel and setting. It is; however, a decent walk to any stores or restaurants outside of the hotel. Dowtown Golden is a 12 minute ride, but worth the trip.”

“The reviews are way too harsh for this hotel. Stayed the weekend for the Broncos game and enjoyed every bit of the stay! The staff at the front were very kind and the location was great. The room wasn’t perfect, but for the price it was absolutely worth it. The free breakfast was pretty tasty as well! No issues whatsoever. Sure, the place is old, but it gives it character and makes it feel like you’re living in the 70s!”

“Checking was quick and easy although one in our party wanted to pay with cash and instead had to use a credit card since cash was not an option. Rooms were clean, beds quality but there was limited seating. Only one office type chair was available so guests were forced to sit on the bed when in the room. The bathroom was not at all handicapped accessible. In fact, when we made the reservation we were told they did not have any handicap accessible rooms in the hotel which was a challenge for one...
