“It’s a good hotel, my room did smell funny, even the hallways toward my room had a smell, the bathroom was pretty clean for the most part and the room was kept pretty good also, for some reason the sheet I had on the bed smelled like piss”

“I have stayed at hotels offering free breakfasts before, but by comparison, those free breakfasts couldn't hold a candle to what ChefRobert at the Holiday Day Inn Express BDL, put on! The eggs were fresh, cooked to perfection, the bacon fresh, crisp perfect! In fact, everything was excellent and beyond expectations! Hats off to Robert, for an excellent culinary experience”

“As a solo female traveler, I was a bit surprised at the location of my “first” room. I was at the very end of the hall, next to the stair well and across from the trash room. The hallway did smell a bit because the trash room door was propped open but the room itself did not. I was not comfortable with the location so requested a room change - something closer to an elevator - more in the mix and was accommodated without question. The room was very clean, comfortable and I felt better in the new...

“Entire facility needs an update. Just feels dated. Rooms are great! Old spring beds squeaked. Old AC units loud. Ice machine didn’t work upstairs. Overall a convenient stay. Good rate. Good staff. Clean and well presented. Excellent location for the airport. I will stay again.”

“It was close to airport. Rooms looked rather worn. There was no breakfast as advertised. They also took a 100 dollar room deposit which I'd better get back. Is this fee legal?”

“Super clean hotel and friendly staff”

“Outside was very run down. Walking in the lobby looked nice. They did not have the room set up that I reserved so that was a bad start. When we did get into a “comparable” room it had some issues with the baseboard moldings peeling away and upon inspection the mattresses were not pleasant looking at all. We were on the ground floor and within 10 minutes a couple of items hit our window and someone actually ended up knocking on our window which was a shock. It turned out to be a hotel guest who...
