From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with such genuine warmth that we almost instantly felt at home. Their friendliness felt natural and heartfelt, and no request was ever too much trouble. Their care and attention set the tone for the entire stay. The room was very comfortable and thoughtfully prepared, with excellent air conditioning that worked perfectly,...

“The perfect romantic getaway for couples.”

“We stayed for one night as we were attending a wedding at Palmwoods. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was well presented and very clean. We had a bedroom, a lounge with tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge and a clean and neat bathroom all with its own entrance.”

“Friendly. Wonderful location, views and breakfast. Top ! ”

“After a lovely 2 night stay in Alexandra retreat. Couldn’t fault it, incredible breakfast provided by Paul the host on both mornings of our stay. Beautiful room over looking the pool and hinterland. Stocked mini fridge in the room and bathrobes. Only 2 rooms in this property so it doesn’t feel like your normal bnb, both rooms are on the bottom floor so private from the hosts. House is close to a few townships so good options for dinner etc Would definitely stay here again”

“Ideal location, close to shops, beautiful views to the coastline.Plenty of room for the 5 of us.Having the fire alight on arrival with plenty of wood to keep it going was marvellous.Excellent communication with the host prior & during our stay. I would highly recommend this property for a short winter break away. 🫶”
