“A lovely country pub. The landlady was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets in the room. The food was exceptional and the breakfast was amazing. Even freshly brewed coffee which you do not get in hotels. We were pleasantly surprised.”

On arrival, there was a warm welcome, fresh milk and tea & coffee. Greatly welcomed after a long journey. I stayed in room 4, a self contained double room which was perfectly fine for my needs. The bed was super comfortable. The details of the property added extra comfort too. We were visiting Stamford so it was an easy 15min drive through countryside.
