“Very relaxing stay the staff were very friendly on arrival and showed us around the lush gardens. We had the pleasure of staying in the church loft, very unique experience. The only thing that could be improved is the light outside the church front windows (security light) in the common lounge area is on 24/7 and is very bright at night shining through the stained glass window on the front door. Shame it is not on a sensor after 9-10pm. Otherwise we would definitely come back.”

“The only real issue we had was trying to be talked into a time-share seminar upon arrival. Once we said no we were left alone so it wasn't a huge issue. Our children loved the pool area. The room was a little dated but clean and spacious with excellent views.”

“They were under construction-----------We were not warned before. Expedia screwed up my reservation. I ordered a DOUBLE STUDIO room but Expedia changed it into a QUEEN STUDIO ROOM. I NEEDED 2(TWO) BEDS As I was traveling with my 54 year old daughter and we were forced to sleep in the SAME bed-----------------------------I am 83 years old--------------It was not good”

“First up we were told after we paid that a $200 holding fee would be held for 28 days, if we had paid cash we could have got that back on check out. For the price I was shocked that the expectation was we had to wash up, although no sink just a bucket you could fill up in the shower to wash your dishes. We decided against that as we discovered an ant trail in the food prep shelf thing. There was also mould in the shower and the aircon was held together with duct tape. Upside location was...

“We loved our stay at La Promenade. Exactly as advertised, clean and well laid out with friendly staff. It is currently being renovated a few rooms at a time, but of no imposition to our stay. This will only make it a more attractive proposition in the future.”

“This was a quick stopover for us to get from one place to close to our next destination. Unfortunately with our timing we arrived after dark and didn't get to enjoy the views out back, but it from the pics it looked like a cute marina. It was great having a bar and restaurant out the back, and the food was delicious (staff was also wonderful). Parking was easy and close.”
