“The Grand Colonial is a great choice for a temporary home in the Herkimer area. So rich in American Revolutionary history, the old mansion is an historic relic that is kept up-to-date by its current owners. Mike was our host, and he couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We give it our highest recommendation.”

“The room was very clean and beds comfortable. The water view was very relaxing. They had a variety of food for breakfast, which made you feel like you were in an all inclusive resort. I would definitely stay again in this hotel.”

“Hotel molto bello, nuovo e pulito. Molto meglio degli hotel appartenenti a catene commerciali presenti nelle vicinanze. Camere spaziose, pulite e curate, alcune con una bella vista sul fiume (non la nostra). Il casinò, pur essendo nella stessa struttura, è ben diviso dall’hotel rendendo facile l’accesso ma mantenendo la privacy dell’hotel. Super consigliato”

“Beautifully restored Inn. However, it’s run without people. I arrived, after being misled by my mapping software, and fortunately the owner was in the bar and helped me very graciously to my room. Without him, I would not have known what to do without a lot of email review. I am old, not a techie and that would have added to my exasperation of being misled by the map app. My room was very well kept. The door was the wrong size or something as it let a lot of light in from the hallway. This...
