Cowes Chapel Beach House

Questa casa sulla spiaggia di Phillip Island, favolosamente rinnovata di recente, si trova a pochi passi dalla famosa spiaggia di Cowes e dalla sua via principale di negozi e ristoranti. È una struttura arredata di recente con la perfetta area esterna per intrattenere e rilassarsi allo stesso modo.
Il confortevole salotto è ben complimentato con una TV LED da 50 "e un lettore Blu Ray con compatibilità con il disco rigido, così un film può essere facilmente goduto dopo una lunga giornata trascorsa a esplorare la famosa isola.
Lo spazio esterno è accompagnato da numerosi posti a sedere per accogliere un gran numero di ospiti con un nuovo barbecue Webber che sicuramente lascerà le lingue in movimento, accanto alla divertente area del giardino, una tranquilla area salotto perfetta per rilassarsi, rilassarsi e godersi il fresco oceano brezza.
Le 2 camere ben presentate possono ospitare fino a 5 persone con letti queen size, letto a castello doppio e pouf, a complemento della comodità della proprietà.
La struttura accetta animali domestici, quindi siete invitati a portare il vostro amico a quattro zampe.
Il garage è stato trasformato in un'area di gioco con un tavolo da ping-pong full size, probabilmente un successo tra tutte le età.
La struttura accetta animali domestici ed è ideale per cani di taglia medio-piccola.
Per coloro che desiderano mantenersi in forma mentre sono lontani, l'ovale calcistico locale di Cowes, la palestra, i campi da tennis e i percorsi per passeggiate sono tutti nelle immediate vicinanze della struttura.

Cosy unit - Perfect location

A very comfortable stay for our whole family, including our big furry baby. Easy walks to the beach and main street/shops/restaurants. Just what we wanted and needed. The owner is very accommodating and great with communication.

Clean, tidy, roomy. Close to main strip so can walk to all cafes.Comfy bed. Great spacious shower. Dog friendly, yes. But only grass out front , not in enclosed courtyard. Need to bring all things like sheets, pillow cases, towels, tissues, shampoo, soap. Car space as part of the unit, but a tight fit getting in and out. Overall, good place to stay .

Clean is sth different

First the positives. This house is centrally located. Shops, supermarket, Restaurants, beach... all in walking distance. Communication was really fast.But unfortunately i cannot ignore the negatives. 1. It was communicated on the website linen and towels provided. At the bottom it was added that there is a charge. I didn't read that far so partly my fault, but not great from the other side as well. 2. We arrived late afternoon and went into town first. Coming back we got the kids ready for bed. When we prepared our own bed we discovered a very very old and dirty bed sheet. It actually was quite disgusting. Too late to get a replacement so we had to take the clean one from the kids bed and slept all 4 in one bed. At least we got the money back for the linen/towels and someone came early next morning and arranged replacement. The owner communicated quick and fair here. Nevertheless a absolute no go in my option.3. The General cleanliness is not what we expect. The first impression was good. But with a baby we are obviously on the floor a bit and from here we saw loads of dust and dirt underneath the couch and cupboards. Inside the cupboards it didn't get better. Espescially where cutlery is. We cannot recommend this place

Wonderful location with a short walk into town or to the beach & playground. A family friendly unit with a table tennis table to entertain the kids in the garage. Check in was quick and easy and the host sent us information on what linen we needed to bring well in advance.Overall we had a wonderful stay, but the house has a very musty smell and could do with a good deep clean.

Location, location, location!

We loved the location of this holiday house! One street up was the main drag and down another street you were at the main beach. We loved being so close to everything!!! The house was perfect for us with a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable couch and eating area as well. We didn’t sit out in the back as the outdoor table was beside the air-con unit and we felt the area was a bit cramped. The only suggestion I have is a deep clean, wipe down walls and bathroom doors and give the house a really good vacuum. I had to vacuum behind the main bed as there was a huge amount of dust and also in the bunk bed room - hard to reach places but needs to be done. Easy check in and when I had an issue with the key safe the owner answered her phone and was able to help. Thanks for a great stay!

Never again

Worst accommodation ever, filthy -stove, benches just everywhere, full of dust made us ill, had to sleep in car first night, it was that bad bedroom stank, found other accommodation so we could stay in area.Host very hard to communicate with, still trying to receive a proper refund

Check in was a disaster

When we arrived the key safe was simply an open shell. We were fortunate that a neighbour could point us to the tourist info place in the Library. A helpful lady contacted Stayz emergency number and via a helpful guy there we were able to speak directly to the owner ( prior to that we simply had a leave a mesage and I'll get back - but didnt) Owner contacted the cleaners , and said they would wait for us at the house BUT by the time we returned to the property the keysafe was intact with the key in it - but no sign of the cleaner, so we could access( finally and some 11/2 - 2 hours later) . Owner did eventually apologise saying she had spoken to the cleaner etc etc BUT we have never had a proper explanation of what happened and why we were subjected to the difficulties at check in which we still believe we are owed.

Perfect Location

We chose this place for it's location. We could walk to most of the eateries, supermarkets. The Unit was well placed, very clean, although the chairs in the courtyard could have been cleaned. A box of tissues would be a nice touch. Would recommend this to our friends.
