“The room had good space and was clean and staff were friendly. We were there for four days and housekeeping never came in. Online it says they will come every other day but it turns out you have to request it. It would get a better grade if they at least checked the trash and towels. We did enjoy our stay.”

“The lobby and restaurant were extremely clean. Staff were very friendly upon checking in and out. My issue was with the toilet which had multiple hairs and unknown encrustations present that could be seen from the bathroom door. The floor was adorned with multiple small pieces of toilet paper.it looked like a small ticker tape parade had been held there. I had to clean the toilet. Disgusting!”

“The carpets need a deep cleaning. It felt like there was winter salt on them. The furniture was stained with a lot of stains over time, especially the foot stool coffee table. The TVs are old technology and did not work well. The kitchen needed a few more utensils to be useful.”

“The hotel building looks run down, and the outside is slighly overgrown with weeds in the rocks. We stayed 5 days and not once was the elevator vacuumed, nor the entrance way mopped. There were papers and old fishfly carcasses on the floor on day one, and we told them good bye on day five. The rooms itself were spacious and clean. No complaints there. My grandson wanted to swim, but even he realized the water was not what he is used to. Why can't I see the bottom? was his question. Needless to...

“The place is riddled with bed bugs and the rooms are not clean”

“The welcome was less than hospitable, but the rest of the trip the staff took good care of us. The main problem this facility is facing is that there is no way for clients with boats cannot have ready access to electricity to charge boat batteries. This is a LAKE recreational area and many come to boat and fish.”

“We stayed for 4 nights. Never asked if we needed housekeeping service to provided any. A halfway check for garbage and clean towels would have been nice”

“Very nice property and rooms. Great breakfast options. Very clean. One of the nicest hotels I've stayed at.”

“We were not able to get 2 rooms on the same floor and had to wait a half hour for our rooms even though we checked in shortly after 3pm. Rooms were okay and pretty clean. The common areas were awful. Stacks of boxes blocking the hallways, bags of trash left in the hallways. Tables not wiped off in the breakfast area. Staff were polite but definitely had their dirt blinders on.”

“TERRIBLE NIGHT ON A KING SIZE COT THAT MOVED AROUND ALL NIGHT WHY WOULD THEY RENT A ROOM LIKE THIS …. JUST BECAUSE I WAS ON EXPEDIA AND GOT A VERY CHEAP PRICE I PRESUME ….. NEVER AGAIN I WILL FIND A BETTER EXTENDED STAY NOT STERLING HEIGHTS MICHIGAN 😢😢😢”
