“Was not provided with an access code. When I managed to contact the property manager they claimed no personal information was forwarded to them, ie; phone number or email from Expedia. I had to enlist the help of a nearby business to contact them 3 hours after the check in time. If Expedia doesn’t forward details why would you continue to use them as booking agents. Property was close enough to train station and quite location, front door was often not secured from the street ”

“When we arrived the air conditioning was on in our room and it was so cold. It was cold outside so I have no idea why it had been left on. As you entered the hotel it was so warm then going into our room was very uncomfortable. Staff did come up and said it would take some time to warm up which it did so sadly the only time we really spent in the room it was freezing. Also it was incredibly difficult to get ready. “Love the Portland Guest House, fantastic location for wide choice of restaurants in the town. The place is always spotless and the staff are so friendly. Entry is now via key box system and breakfast has moved over to Continental only. This still offers a good choice of food and drinks. Defo recommend the place.”
