“Good Holiday”

“Room furnishings are very dated and in a state of disrepair e.g. stained carpets, furniture drawers wonky and not closing properly, door handles coming off, the list is endless! I had to request a change of room which was slightly better and the in-room safe didn’t work. And when explaining this to staff I was asked what colour the safe was and was then met with an ‘ah, ok’, as if they expected it not to be working from the colour it was, remarkable! Evening meal was no better than supermarket...

“The premises is dated and very basic but suited my last minute plans. Not the cleanest in terms of the shower room and very noisy as doors slamming in the tiny joint/communal room access area immediately outside my door awoke me. Don’t rely on the buses nearby as I waited almost an hour for a bus to the city centre and gave up in the end. No shops nearby. If you require any get it before you arrive. “I didn't stay. I never got sent check in instructions (code for the door etc) they never answered my messages and they didn't answer the phone. Absolute scam. Do not book this. Had to fork out for an emergency Travelodge ”

“The bathing area not enough to turn our body also its just like small box. Can’t adjust the shower head also. Rooms are not bigger as presented on these photos. I booked the standard apartment (they mentioned they have private bathroom in the listing) after went there they told that there is no private bathrooms. ”

“The bathroom look great until you turned on the light. Shower tiles had signs of rust or mold in the grout. Flooring was peeling up from the floor at sink and toilet, and was stained. Walls had caked dirt, debris. White based boards had missing paint, and visible dirt. Fan did not work, and was covered in dirt. ”
