Perfect house for groups wanting to stay together but have their own space.
Every summer my extended family spend a week together. This is the best house we have stayed in so far. Each family had their own room and bathroom. A beautiful big table that fitted all of us. Comfortable couches. Comfortable beds. Wheelchair friendly for all but one room. Wheelchair friendly for all bathrooms. Everything has been thought of. The house has everything you could possibly need. Beautiful and clean. Lots of thoughtful details and extras provided including a lovely gift on arrival. We’d love to stay again. We also loved the electric piano as our family consists of many musicians. Thank you Debbie and Ron

Dennington stay

A real surprise when we opened the door!
Absolutely fantastic setup for a group, by far one of the best places we’ve stayed in! Everything you need is available and the property was very clean. Already have this earmarked for a return 2 or 3 family trip later in the year. Highly recommended!!

Annual friends get together
The place was perfect for several families having each their own rooms & bathroom. Walking distance to supermarket & hosts were very friendly & helpful.

The perfect holiday house!
Austral Place is truly the best holiday accommodation I've ever stayed in. Ron and Debbie are kind and attentive hosts. The house is spotlessly clean, it's huge and very generously appointed. The perfect holiday house for family groups. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Fantastic residence for multiple families!
Loved being there. We spent 5 days , 4 nights with 2 other families, 13 of us in total. With plenty of room for a 4th family. Had all the required ammenities, plus close to all the attractions. Cannot recommend highly enough. Debbie and Ron were awesome and lovely to deal with.

Perfect accommodation for a group
The property’s layout is quirky (it’s a former factory) but it worked well for a group of ‘mature’ friends, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. It was spotless and well equipped, located close to a supermarket but away from the main road. Highly recommended.

Thankyou Karin along with your lovely group of ladies for your kind review of Austral Place 88 while holidaying in Warrnambool it was a pleasure to be Host of such a nice group and your always very welcome for a return visit to our home, a little information on the origins of Austral Place 88 it build and run very similar to a mini Bunnings store with supplies to the local community of just about anything required for there homes after that it was mainly used as an office, it is on a short list to be Heritage listed also we spent 10yrs redesigning and fitting it out to be our prized guesthouse which has been such a pleasure, Kind & best regards Robert & Debbie

Absolutely unbelievable
Myself, husband, children and grandchildren enjoyed 4 nights. The property is amazing, everything clean and so welcoming. The complimentary bottle of wine, was appreciated as was the fully stocked pantry and kitchen utensils. Very comfortable beds and stocked bathrooms were great. Robert was constantly in contact with sight seeing advise and ideas, he graciously posted home to us some items left behind. We truely cannot recommend this venue highly enough.

Wonderful accommodation
What a pleasure it was to say, very wheelchair friendly. Everything we needed was provided, even a complimentary bottle of wine. Beds were extremely comfortable and appliances top of the line. Thanks to Robert and Dianne for making our holiday a great one.

Great home for large number of people
88 Austral Place was a great overnight place for my family and extended family to stay at. It was very spacious, ticked all the boxes with number of rooms and bathrooms. It was very clean and tidy and Robert was an amazing host. His communication was always prompt and welcoming. All his extra touches such as information on local area, fruit bowl, fresh milk and wine was lovely! I had a very memorable stay and regret not booking an extra day. I would highly recommend this place for everyone who is exploring the Great Ocean Road area or wanting a getaway at a relaxing place. A big big thank you Robert. We hope to return soon.

Great Stay
Our group has been staying in many different houses for the past ten years around Victoria and this is an excellent place to stay for a large group or a couple of families. The house has everything you need, would highly recommend this property for a stay around the Warrnambool area any time of the year. A lovely place to stay
Austral Place 88 is the perfect place to stay for a large group of people, we had everything we needed and Robert could not have been more delightful. The location is convenient to shopping , petrol and food places. The premesis is clean and tidy and its heating was very efficient and kept us warm and cosy

Fantastic property for large family
Rob gave us a warm welcome and advised us that he was available if anything was required. The house was excellently presented and and immaculately clean. All the things that were mentioned in advertisement were included. Plenty of room for our family of 16 persons. We would strongly recommend this house.

Best holiday house we've ever stayed in. Everything you could need or want.
The house is HUGE and has everything you could possibly need or want for a trip away from home. The owner Rob was very welcoming and generous and keeps his property well stocked with toiletries, pantry basics, linen and towels. He also has great local knowledge and pointed us in the direction of some hidden treasures. A fantastic house with room for everyone to spread out and have their own space.

Fantastic spacious home for large group
Robert went all out to make our stay comfortable. The stove stopped working suddenly and Robert turned up within minutes to fix it. Spacious home plenty of space for our group of 16. The 5 bathrooms really helps. Spotlessly clean. As soon as we stepped in the house everybody said WOW what a home! After a hard day travelling the house provided an ideal place to rest, whether in the bedrooms or in the living rooms. Even with a group of 16 people we have private space away from each other! I really can't find any negative with this house. Thank you Robert.
