“The Cullen is a lovely hotel, it’s just starting to show signs of age and wear. The balcony that we paid extra to have was dirty, the furniture just an old cracked table and 2 dirty plastic chairs. The penthouse is so nice, it is a shame that there are cracked pavers on the balcony, some are raised and are a tripping hazard. It a sad to see the hotel not being maintained. ”

“I had read some nightmare reviews of this place and was half expecting to see mushrooms on the walls, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the room tidy and spacious. I didn't get much of a chance to use the oven/stove, but the kitchen was well appointed. The aircon fan made some odd noises, and some of the walls could use a bit of fresh paint (general scuff marks), but the space was comfortable. Front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. ”

“Room clean. Reported leaking tap in bathroom. Not dripping but continually running and unable to stop it. Couch comfortable. Bed comfortable but not stable. When partner turned over in his sleep the whole bed wobbled.
Had a beautiful meal at Dad Vietnamese restaurant around the corner.
