“My partner and I stayed in the Lodge accomodation area, which was a self contained unit. It was very impressive and comfortable for the two of us inside and out. The best feature for us was the deck, which overlooked the water. We watched one of the best sunsets ever. And there’s plenty of wildlife around too. Highly recommended. ”

“Comfortable studio. Clean sheets and towels. Well equipped kitchen. Hosts not helpful with check in process for late arrival. Studio had an unusual, not pleasant smell when I arrived. Otherwise safe and friendly environment and right on Snug Beach.”

“Everything about staying here was fantastic. We walked into a beautiful apartment with the aroma of freshly baked bread in the air. The jam provided was delicious too. It is such a well appointed and beautiful space with a view that matches the beauty of the apartment. We had chooks come right up to us - they were so friendly. We had everything we needed and more and staying here is an absolute must when visiting Tasmania.”

I loved the range of cooking appliances even if didn’t have time to use them. Diane was very helpful pointing me in a couple of directions related to my reason for being in that part of Tasmania.”

“Highly recommend Channel Cabin if you are planning a day trip to Bruny Island. It is just a short drive away from the ferry in Kettering. The boat cruise from Adventure Bay was the highlight of our trip!The cabin was very clean and cosy. The heat pump was sufficient to heat the whole cabin. The kitchen was well equipped and we really appreciated having the air fryer and coffee pod machine.
