“What we expected.”

“Restaurant, water park and fitness center all closed. Unable to call and reach front desk. Asked for late checkout from 11 to noon and was declined. ”

“Inept staff, the worst wi-fi out of any hotel or motel I have ever stayed in, basically a flophouse”

“It's a very old motel. The staff is great but he only has so much to work with. There's no real breakfast. Truthfully, I think it was a little overpriced for what we got. But it was a moderately clean and safe place to stay for the night.”

“Enjoyed the stay .. great location— nice fire pit - fold out mattresses are very uncomfortable— cozy/clean cottage overall .. will recommend ”

“Be ready for stairs, and the ac is on the wall in the kitchen and one in the dining room area. So the farthest room was a little warm, which we were lucky and a family member likes it that way. It’s in an amazing location and the bakery across the street it’s highly recommended. The only problem we had is the back door hinges were not screwed in so we couldn’t use the back patio, and there seems to be some kind of chewy melted snack food items stuck to the sheets in one of the beds. I got it...

“GREAT location, host was quick to respond to questions/messages. You can walk to the waterpark, restaurants and golf course! Property has a great little gym and a large patio. If you are coming to Storm Lake, this is a wonderful property!”

“Beautiful house. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Everything was wonderful! Clean comfy and super close to BVU for family to gather for graduation! ”

“Location, location, location. This place has a beautiful view of the lake with tons of windows facing the water, outdoor seating and pier access. The inside has large gathering area and seating and plenty of beds. I think the only downside is only 1 shower, but for what you get for the price it's a minor issue. Loved the place. Would stay again. Appreciate the great communication with the host.”

“Super clean and ready for. Great communication as well.”

“We had a wonderful time! The house is perfect for a large family gathering. The setting was amazing right on the lake and was easy to get around town. We would highly recommend staying at The Hummingbird House!”

“This property was perfect for us. Host was accommodating and we appreciated the extra amenities. Very comfortable stay for us.”

“I was in town working at the local hospital for the week. It was nice to have a clean, spacious, and quiet space to relax in. Highly recommended!”

“This home is amazing. We booked for an extended family vacation with 3 families, kids ages 8-17. The extra spaces were so amazing. The kids loved the bunk bed room and were able to play Nintendo and have a great time. The kitchen was beautiful and they had so many items to make the stay easy. We will definitely be back!”

“Perfect location for a long weekend gathering with family! Quiet neighborhood, peaceful lake view, abundant gathering area and amenities cover basically anything you could need. Beau is a great host and very responsive with communication. We will absolutely return!”

“Very clean house and perfect for our stay with the grandkids for some pheasant hunting!”
