“Manager was rude. Wouldn’t let me get a different room that was by the elevator. Also. Wouldn’t let me have a 1 pm checkout time. As I had a zoom meeting. Don’t waste your money. Stay in Duluth.”

“Overall this hotel had lots of old fashion appeal. Once we received our key to our room. We went up and found that one of the beds had clearly not been changed. And they had to move us to another room. I have never had that happen before. So that was very strange. The next room was very nice.”

“It was so dirty. There were stains in the carpet. AC didn’t work. Lights didn’t work. Staff was helpful in getting us a new room but still not clean.”

“The location was in a more quiet location than the Hampton over in Duluth and less expensive. Rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast left a lot to be desired.”

“Hallways and elevator need to be vacuumed especially edges. Some of the furniture in the room had a thick layer of dust ie table supports.”

“The stay was ok. The place badly Needs updating. Lack of maintenance stood out especially in the bathroom with a cracked sink and shower curtain rod that had been pulled out of the wall and relocated more than once with very bad patchwork on the sheetrock. Breakfast was ok, typical for the lodging price. Surprisingly quiet as it is on the main road, our room did not face the road.”

“No map or easy directions around property drove around for bout 2 hrs looking for anyone to help check cause key didn't.work lighted walkways etc”

“Excellent property just as listed. Actually, larger than I expected it to be. Softest bedding ever. Good location. Went to Superior for fishing. Less than 15 min from several boat ramps. Wing place at end of the street is next level. It was a little tight on the parking with my boat but I made it work. Very comfortable place. I would stay there again”

“A very unique private property with Lake Superior access. The land itself was beautiful with private beaches covered in driftwood. The access to get to the lake was treacherous; a steep winding hillside trail with wood stairs not nailed together that collapsed while we were there. Luckily no one was hurt. The camper on site was rotted out. Ceiling in main bedroom falling in, bathroom floor so soft you were worried it would fall through at any moment. Camper seam in the bunk area split and...

“Was a great space for our whole family. There are no Shampoo/Conditioner/Body wash so be sure to bring your own. We had a few cleanliness issues but nothing that impaired our time and we loved having all of us together.”
