“Buon motel, camera spaziosa, bagno buono, finalmente un condizionatore che non fa rumore. Internet ok. Colazione buona ma migliorabile. Adiacente al motel alcuni fast food. ”

“L'hotel non è molto curato e si trova in una zona in cui non c'è praticamente quasi nulla da vedere. Scelto solo perché si trova a circa 1 ora e mezzo di macchina da Lake George. Personale sbrigativo e non molto cordiale. Non ho apprezzato per niente il fatto che ci siamo camere fumatori accanto a camere non fumatori, nei corridoi c'era sempre puzza di fumo, anche con le finestre aperte. Non c'è l'ascensore (anche se sono solo 3 piani...quando ci sono le valigie da portarsi dietro risulta...

“It was a real treat to stay at the Balsam Inn! The Inn is off the beaten path like I wanted and very very quite. Jenny is a warm welcoming host. She even upgraded my room just because it was available. The room itself was beautiful! It felt like I was a guest in someones Adirondack mountain home. “Spectacular interior spaces and super friendly owner. The interior is filled with incredible woodwork, especially grand staircase. Our suite was large and comfortable. Books everywhere to read. Great amount of satisfying choices for breakfast. We were pleasantly stuffed afterwards. Close to several restaurants. We were biking the Erie Canal Trail from Syracuse to Amsterdam NY and it was very convenient, close to trail and owner insisted on having our bikes inside. Loved it!!!”

“Overall our stay was very enjoyable. The cabin was cute and a nice location. Communication was lacking. We did not get the key code sent to us until we had no service to retrieve the message. After a 6 hour drive we had to drive to find WiFi in order to get access. One of the deck chairs were broken and the grass in the yard was uncut. Overall though the cabin was as described and we had an enjoyable stay.”

“Bonnie and Steve were excellent hosts. The communication with them was great. They provided us with suggestions for places to visit and were incredibly friendly. The house was beautiful! They did a great job renovating it and the whole place was impeccably clean and had everything I could think of. There were lots of hiking opportunities in the area that we took advantage of, too. It was just a great experience all around!”

“While the rooms and furnishings are very nice, the bathrooms we not cleanly or updated. The night I stayed there, the power had gone off and there was no air conditioning and the no water. This could be a nice B&B but the outdoors need to be improved. For starters, they could remove the junk water heater from the front porch.”
