“Lovely view of the water”

“The pool was awesome, huge hot tub and the kids loved it. The parking situation is a little weird though because you need wristbands in order to get in and out, otherwise you have to pay 20 dollars. We had someone in our party come late so at 1 am I had to wake-up and walk outside of the gate to hand them their wristband in order for them to get in. A few minutes after that while at the front desk, I heard on the employee radio that I was a suspicious person for doing so. So thats fun. Overall...

“Hotel tranquillo e con elevato rapporto qualità/prezzo. Camera silenziosa e pulita, letti comodi e colazione ok, con una varietà limitata ma secondo noi più che sufficiente. Le paste dolci e i biscotti erano buonissimi. La signora gentilissima che si occupava della colazione è stata fantastica, ci ha dato anche consigli su cosa vedere nel nostro viaggio on the road.”

“La struttura è carina, da cambiare i materassi! ”

“Solo traveler and loved everything about the lodge -location, facilities/amenities, cleanliness!”

“Not a new property but was very clean.staff very helpful, close to all area restaurants and 5 miles to Grand Traverse Bay”

“We stayed in a jr suite. Kitchen was wonderful. The bathroom was nice and clean The only problem was that the air conditioner unit was loud and right over the head of the bed.”

“Had to call to get someone to front desk. Just a small inconvenience .”

“We've stayed at the cherry tree inn multiple times. The last time was in 2024. This time it seems like the property is run down and needs a little refresh. I know they just went through a renovation in 2020 or 2021 but that was 5 to 6 years ago and it really seems run down. The staff is always pleasant and nice.”

“What was great about the room: it was mostly clean. The location was ideal for downtown activities. It was relatively quiet-especially for a weekend stay. What was absolutely unacceptable and will keep me from ever returning: Communication with the hotel was through text and it took me about an hour of back and forth to get to their understanding the problem, admitting it was their issue to resolve, and their promise of a resolution. 5 days later the issue was further complicated instead of...

“I would recommend this property very much detailed with the guest. Welcome us with a note, also in the lobby free coffee and tea. So chic. Love the room very modern and clean. Love the tub with robes… wished I could stay longer. Love their postcards as well.”

“We had a wedding to attend and I thought it would be nice to book a special room, so the "penthouse" at this hotel caught my eye and I booked it. The "penthouse" is anything but. The penthouse is on the 3rd floor but there is no elevator to the third floor, so my wife and I had to haul 2 heavy suitcases and 2 heavy coolers up 3 floors. We are in our 70s. Before doing so, I went to the front desk and asked where the elevator was and the employee looked at me like a deer in headlights and then...

“The rooms were clean, the staff was nice. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The breakfast was ok. The linens in the rooms were a little worn, the sheet and blanket could have been pulled up higher on the bed, we like to cover our whole body up.”
