“My family of 4 enjoyed our stay. The Lakeview Restaurant was a huge surprise! We were expecting overpriced mediocre food but our dinner was fantastic! Everything in the hotel was clean for the most part. The indoor pool area could use some attention. The rooms and pools could use some updating, but overall the whole resort was pretty great. Would stay again if in the area. The sunset over Lake Bellaire was absolutely gorgeous.”

“Only gave the hotel 2 stars because the staff was very nice and friendly. Otherwise it would’ve been a 1 star. The property itself was a disappointment. The pool area only had one working light and was not well maintained. Our room was too small for a family of 4. The bathroom was like a closet and the sink was right next to the bed. Barely enough room for clothes in the wardrobe and definitely not enough room in the bathroom to hang wet bathing suits without them dripping all over the toilet....

“Stayed a night at Charlesvoix House (Northside) on our way to a family funeral in Sault Ste Marie. This pretty town is walkable and worth a stopover. Writing this review to thank our host Terry. She reminded us of the treasures we had discovered at many bed and breakfasts in our travels in the 80s and 90s, before the days of airbnbs and sterile Wyndhams. She shared insights of the town including the story behind the 380 potted flower decorations on the town roads. She cooked muffins with fresh...

“Really nice rooms and grounds. Very convenient.”

“There is no hot water when we arrived. Waited for the whole day, still no progress. The staff is polite but not very helpful in providing alternative solutions. So we checked out early. Expedia contacted the hotel for refund and no one is answering the email or the phone call. So yeah, I got ghosted.”

“Great place to stay!! We needed a room for one night before heading over to Beaver Island and Adoba saved the day. Brand new renovation and great housekeeping staff was so appreciated, all at a super reasonable price during peak season in one of Michigan's priciest resort towns. THANK YOU- we'll be back. Only 10-15 minute walk from downtown Charlevoix. *Note: No ice machine. Remote contactless entry, but staff does pick up the phone to assist.”
