“This was such a great experience. We loved the character and comfort of the house plus it was a quick walk to everything. Steffan the innkeeper was the best part. He was so welcoming and accommodating, full of information, and a great chef (making us a beautiful breakfast spread). He obviously cares about this place and it shows!! He made it 10/10!”

“Shanty Creek was a great place to stay. The room was spacious, clean, and private. The restaurant on site had fun specials after 5 pm and there was a shuttle that took you to the bar in town. Pool area seemed well kept, and so did the grounds in general. I'd totally stay here again. ”

“Beautiful historic home on a gorgeous lot with firepit, flowers, blackberries, a firepit, a porch swing, and creek winding through. The common areas are well appointed and kitchen well stocked. I would have been more comfortable if there had been a host or innkeeper on site being 2 females travelling alone but the other guests seemed respectful and we had a beautiful time enjoying the house and yard. ”

“This was a nice property to stay. The only issue we had was when we got to the property. I did not find our room number until I double checked the booking and noticed it was on the address. So when you do go to Check-in and find your room. Check the address and it will have the room number.”
