“It was a decent hotel. A bit overpriced in my opinion as someone who has stayed in many hotels. The amenities were nice to have. Restaurants, pool, hot tub. Spa services are outrageously priced need to be booked well in advance. I will say it feels a bit out-dated. The rooms were very basic with tiny bathrooms. My husband broke up a bar fight one night on the resort as the manager and bartenders were standing by doing nothing. It would have been nice to have our bill comped or at least a...

“Room was clean, bed was comfortable, furniture was old, water pressure in shower was very weak and toggled back & forth between hot & cold. Restaurant and coffee shop were quite expensive and coffee shop did not take cash.”

“Perfect location for a fall weekend getaway! The staff was available and very friendly when needed, I love that there was no wait for check in/out as it was all done with emails and codes! The bonfire, games and lounge area was another cute addition. TORCH LAKE IS BEAUTIFUL and it’s only walking distance from your room. We will definitely be back.”

“clean rooms close to work out room”

“Pet friendly, with excellent pet areas for exercise Ease of entry and exit Great room maintenance staff,as well as informative desk employees”

“The positives: the complimentary breakfast was nice, but there is a very small dining area and people were waiting for seats to open up; the staff were all polite; the shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water; the fridge, coffeemaker, and microwave were a nice convenience; there is plenty of parking on-site. We were in the area during the off-season, so the hotel was fairly quiet. The negatives: the property is extremely rundown and outdated. There is literally paint chipping...

“This was a lovely experience. Mattresses super comfortable and well decorated room. Nice new bathroom with great toiletries. Easy access in and out. Great area to visit!”

“Very clean and well appointed! The beds are comfy and the shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. We didn’t use the hot tubs/sauna or cold plunge but they looked nice! Close to Bellaire and Mammoth (which is my fav as I don’t drink beer or cider so Short’s really isn’t the appeal to me for drinks). There’s other places too. All within walking distance. They asked that we put trash outside, pile towels on floor (which I do anyway) but I shouldn’t have to worry about trash at all...

“Host Terri was awesome and accommodations were very clean. Property is somewhat dated.”

“Another good Holiday Inn Express, it’s on the outskirts of town but the the driving to the restaurants / bars / attractions is super easy….. breakfast is also very good 👍”

“The room was small and pretty clean...it was worth the price the motel charged not Expedia! It was suppose to have 8,5 rating and it was more like a 5. I thought Expedia was suppose to be cheaper way to go....it was not in this case ...60.00 more! Because of the location it was worth the 105 the hotel charged...not the 166.62 Expedia charged us.”

“Have always wanted to stay there. Room was so large. Really nice. Breakfast options good and staff very friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back.”

“Loved the room and charming nature of the home”

“very nice clean room on second floor but for older customers outside staircase. We are not used to Phone checkin and did locate room with help of other guest”
