“Just a great location and layout. The lake side patio has a lot to offer with the bar, fire pits, lounge seating, sunning, and music. The restaurant was excellent as well. ”

“The property was older but has been updated. It is very convenient to the main part of town, close to several restaurants. It has a nice indoor heated pool and hot tub as well as a breakfast with several choices. The staff was pleasant and accommodating to our needs. There is no elevator but the stairs are reasonable between levels. We look forward to staying here again!”

“It was a very clean room with friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Enjoyed the hot tub & pool. Nice breakfast, several items offered, though I personally don't eat many of the items. There was a power outage while there. Rooms were secure. Need some light for the stairway & laundry room. I would stay here again.”

“This is a great place overall. So cute and cozy. Me and my family stayed here to go to the cherry fest and we so impressed with how clean everything was. The staff is amazing. Normally I get scared to stay in hotels based off cleanliness but this place was like a home away from home. The bed was so comfortable I slept amazing. There is so many great things to do such as boat rentals and side by sides. Overall loved it! ”

“Do not second guess this hotel. Book now!!!! While on a road trip with my son we were looking for budget, and we hit the jackpot here. This hotel is nestled in the middle of Historic Downtown Manistee, about 50 minutes from Sleepy Bear Dunes. This hotel can be termed casual, laid-back. “This place is awesome and the gentleman that owns it is the kindest man you could imagine. It was like staying at my grandfather's house. Nothing fancy, but considering the alternatives in the area, the cleanliness and comfort far exceeded my expectations. Just a couple miles from tippy dam AND he has canoes and kayaks!! 10/10”
