“The staff was outstanding, pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and we had dinner one night and the steaks were excellent. I was able to extend checkout for an extra hour which was very helpful, as my granddaughter was able to ride the pony again. We participated in multiple activities such as Tomahawk and Archery; the attendants were helpful and provided positive feedback. The pool was chilly, but doable for children. The only disappointing thing that occurred was the...

“I stopped by with a motorbike on the way to the three sisters. Not bad at all. The rooms are clean and spacious and a good breakfast was included. The extra nice are the people managing it. Very friendly and helpful. ”

“The set up was perfect for families (we did two queens)- it had two separate bedrooms with a bed and full bathroom in each. Only one had a bathtub (the other was shower only), and the door separating the rooms had a lock on one side (to be a aware of if you stay with kids that may lock it). The breakfast was admittedly lackluster, but it was fine for free (waffles, juice, yogurt, packaged muffins). Overall, we’d do this one again.”

“Guess I wasn't prepared for what I was to find while visiting. Perhaps it was because we had all just survived a long, hot Texas summer. However, the tranquility and beauty were healing to the soul. I kept thinking, "how did I not know of this place before". I'm not even sure I want to share it with friends as I never want it to change. Thank you to the family/team whom make this oasis so special. It truly is a site for sore eyes. Peace in the valley does exist.”

“It was a cute place! Nice and quiet, we enjoyed our stay this year and will look forward to future stays.”

“Communication was top-notch, and the location was perfect for exploring all the small towns we wanted to visit. The views from the porch were beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect place to disconnect, relax, and enjoy nature. We truly loved our stay!”

“We loved this little house! My grandsons loved sleeping in the loft and it was perfect for the three of us. Very cute dinosaur theme throughout the house and my grandsons really liked that.”

“Very nice cottage close to all the attractions”

“This property is adorable and we enjoyed staying here very much. It was clean and had everything we needed. Thank you for the wonderful accommodations!”

“We had a wonderful relaxing week long vacation, and valley view was our homebase. Loved it all! The view, the property, the owners, the pups, the cabin-all wonderful for our family of 4. So much to do in the area, but dont skip out on a trip down to the river! My kids loved the swings and trampoline and throwing rocks into the river so many wondeful memories made. Glen Rose is full of kind people and lots of history. Hope to return someday. Thank you for sharing your home with us. It was...
