“Structurally, it was a standard old-style 1960s motel room. It was clean and bright, and it happened to be well-heated ahead of our arrival on a very cold 2 degree night in June, and it was well-sealed, with no draughts. There were electric blankets on both beds in our twin room and spare blankets and pillows in the wardrobe. The beds were good and I slept better there than I had in weeks at home. There were cups, glasses and wine-glasses, and milk in the fridge. It was situated on the far edge...

“Lovely, clean place with all mod cons. A few little things were missing such as teaspoons and a t towel rack, but you can get by without these. Bed was very comfortable and our host was lovely - offering a dip in her spa, the use of her kitchen and coffees if we wanted them. The boardwalk so close to where we stayed was great for walks and the bush, bird life and scenery were the icing on the cake. Highly recommend.”
