“This hotel is not comfortable. No elevator, and thin curtains. A lot of light from the windows wakes you up at sunrise. Bathroom dirty and with bad smell. Good breakfast, and free parking. Dinner restaurant with limited choice and expensive for the quality and service”

“A very tired hotel, rooms & spa facilities. Bedrooms are in desperate need of refurbishment. Our sink & bath didn’t drain. The hand soap dispenser didn’t work. The spa is exceptionally tired. Mould around the sinks. Breakfast had a good selection but it had all been sat out for some time. Overall, a disappointing stay I wouldn’t recommend it. ”

“L'hotel è nella media di quelli delle piccole cittadine inglesi. Struttura un po' datata, ma complessivamente accettabile. Il personale alla reception desk era simpatico e il checkin è stato veloce e tranquillo”

“L'hotel tipicamente english (sia all'esterno che all'interno, sito in una bella cittadina, pecca di un po' di pulizia e di personale per niente disponibile e molto poco accogliente quasi altezzoso. In particolar modo quando il cliente non sa parlare benissimo in lingua inglese sembra quasi non capire. Il buffet delle colazioni scarso per i prodotti offerti e quel poco esposto senza scelta (es gli yogurt solo alla fragola). Tuttavia è possibile scegliere da menù una colazione tipicamente inglese...

“Really modest hotel, my teenage daughter described it as being cosy. The hotel was very clean, the double room was very large. Closet space was adequate. Tea and biscuits were provided in the room. Breakfast was freshly cooked full English, had choices of cereal and different teas. Was most pleased as my fav peppermint was on offer...never is at other hotels. It was in a very quiet area but with restaurant/takeout within a 1 minute walk, there is a Chinese opposite, Indian restaurant adjacent...

“Pro: Ambienta molto caratteristico, che fa perdonare qualche vecchiume e qualche solaio storto. Buona pulizia, ottima colazione, personale molto cortese. Posizione ottimale sulla High Street. Contro: il WiFi non prende nelle stanze, almeno in quelle più lontane dalla reception. Non è più possibile parcheggiare nel cortile gratuitamente, ma solo a pagamento.”
