“This was one of my worst stays in New Zealand. Never book here. The staff were very nosy trying to find about you and who are you travelling with. The rooms were not filled with supplies. There was no toilet paper, and shampoos. They had labelled branded handwashing soap on the dispenser but used a cheapest branded.”

“Camera comoda e abbastanza grande. buona pulizia. Cucina facilmente fruibile con attrezzatura per cucinare. Volendo nell'area esterna ci sono alcuni tavoli per mangiare, molto comodi quando è bel tempo. Non è molto vicino al centro ma in auto ci si arriva in pochi minuti. WiFi stabile e veloce.”

“We only stayed one night. The staff were friendly and ensured we were settled in. The room was clean, had all we needed and the bed was comfy. The only thing I found a tiny bit less than satisfactory was the shower. All in all, a great place to stay and not overpriced.”

“Great beach”

“Great location to the beach and the local shop. Had everything we needed and the heatpump in the main living area was much appreciated on a very cold winter weekend. The fenced backyard was perfect for our furry friend.”

“The bach is in a brilliant position, very close to the beach but high enough to be out of any wave danger. Great views of the sea. Good views of the lighthouse which is lit up at night. The kitchen has an air-fryer which was easy to use, and a good big coffee plunger. Our weekend away had terrible weather, but the bach quickly heated up inside and was nice and warm. There was a problem with the new Smart TV, no satellite signal, but I'm sure it will be fixed before the next guest. There...

“Staff were really helpful we weren't sure if we would make it before reception closed so I sent them a message they called me back with an alternative option. We did manage to get there in time & they checked if we had everything we needed”

“We absolutely loved our stay at 5 o'clock Somewhere. With family coming to visit we needed space to spread out and there's plenty of that at this beautiful home. The house is beautifully furnished with so many interesting pieces to look at and the hosts have thought of everything to make it a memorable stay.The setting is just amazing surrounded by nature with plenty of birdlife. Ondy is so lovely and made us feel very welcome at her beautiful home. Highly highly recommend.”

“ Very comfortable and tidy bach. Spacious open plan kitchen and living room. Stunning seafront views toward the lighthouse, especially at sunrise. Instructions on how to unlock/ lock the front and back doors would be helpful. They appear to be lift to lock, which we hadn't encountered before. Very close to dairy, which serves great coffee and fish and chips.”
